About

Dear Reader,

These are my chronicles of different sorts as a Southeast Asian living in the Philippines, wherefore geographically, the majority of the facts, observations, analysis, tales and snapshots are from this archipelago. For the rest of the earth, I’ve categorized the writings by country.

The writings are short for the reason that I wouldn’t want to rehash anything that has been written elsewhere. What you’ll find here are my perspectives and insights on various objects I came upon. That is, you can just easily Google the term or history of the stuff I’ve mentioned.

Sincerely,
Lana Jacel

Hi, just discovered your chronicles on Philippines. Nice pics, and nice crisp writing. Thank you for sharing. Gives me a personal insight into a country I have never been to.

You know, I have not realised how much words and images can impact us. The pictures on your blog reveal a side of Philippines that is less seen. In a moment of solitude, I had those images reflecting in my mind’s eye and thanking you mentally for sharing such a beautiful aspect of this country. thanks a ton again.
