This lad chops off the nails from the chicken feet before selling it

A well-dressed adidas (chicken feet) is achieved by chopping off its nails one by one. And that’s what keeps this lad busy at the talipapa.

must be a long tedious job, 3 clawnails in each leg. does ‘adidas’ mean chicken feet in malay? that means a famous sports shoe manufacturer is named after chicken feet?

oh, i get it, in tagalog. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm1rJ0q-hGo where it is mentioned in the tagalog commentary. i find it hilarious that adidas means chicken feet in tagalog.

It’s quite monotonous but I don’t think it’s tedious for that lad. About the nickname, you’re right about that. We also have pork blood cut in squares, usually skewered and grill, and it’s called Betamax. I can imagine you smiling again.

haha, yes , its hilarious. filipinos seem to have a talent for naming stuff to match their ingenuity in concocting things to eat.

i am afraid everytime i see ‘adidas’now i am going into hysterics laughing, and no one around me will understand why.
