its so early, it must be still dark at that time. i can understand why they like it so early, so it dont get too hot, but 4am even 5am is too early i think. those runners must be real dedicated. last time i did it in petaling jaya , malaysia , it was years and years ago and it was joining a outdoor breathing session which start at 6am, to catch the dawn and have light, that is if it is not raining. haha.
Yes that early (even if it’s still dark) so it won’t be hot and they won’t be late for work. Some of them might be training for a race so they may need to run 1, 1.5, or 2 hours before going to work. When I was training for a marathon, I’d start my run before sunrise. Some would feel safe when running in the dark in groups.
