Overloaded Tricycle

Sta Cruz, Marinduque: A tricycle with cargo occupying even the driver’s seat

The arrangement of stuff to maximize the load of a transport is not unusual in the country, or generally, in third world countries. Because of limited resources, improvisation and art seen in day to day life make third world countries more interesting than sterile and expensive cities.

Middle Finger As Money Clip

image

Filipino drivers don’t need paper money sorter

The role of a tsuper’s middle finger is similar to a money clip and is basically used to secure fare income. Therefore, holding bills while driving is possible using this fold and tuck around the middle finger method.

Motorela

This is a tricycle that looks like a mini jeepney or a multicab. I’ve seen this type of trike in Camiguin, Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon provinces.
In Malaybalay City it functions like a shared taxi while in Cagayan de Oro City it works like a jeepney system.

The pictures here are from Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

Fog Lamps as Props

I have noticed that in south Cebu it is common to see jeepneys and tricycles having fog lamps as props. The more fog lamps the more macho it is.
